Balinese Priest

We've called this tall character in a colorful headress a priest, but he could be a dancer, deity, or devotee prayerfully clasping a lotus bud. We do know he was hand carved and painted by craftsmen in Indonesia and has a striking presence. This might be a good solution for a narrow wall space or perhaps use two to flank a door or window. We are down to the last few and do not know if we'll see this particular design again. ¹ ²
